Piazza San Marco is the heart of Venice, where the basilica with its golden mosaics and the Campanile bell tower compete for your attention. Napoleon once called this place "the drawing room of Europe," and the pigeons seem to think they’re still the stars.
📍 Wowtographer Tip: Shoot in the morning, when the light gently touches the stones, and tourists haven't yet filled the space. Best angles are by the basilica or from the bridge near the Doge’s Palace. Entrance to the square is free, but climbing the Campanile costs around 10 euros. There are fewer tourists in November, making it the perfect time for peaceful shots. If it rains, the reflections in the puddles will add depth to your photos – we’ll show you how to make the most of it.
